Cheryl is an ambassador for Yoga Aid Cincinnati 2012. This year, yogis around the world will unite in one single expression of intention. The “Yoga Relay” will begin on September 9th, 2012 in Sydney, Australia and travel around the globe through 20+ countries at 200+ events, and end at sundown in Los Angeles. The goal is to raise over $1 Million dollars for charities around the world. In the time before the main event

My objective is to raise money through events and our studio team to benefit Africa Yoga Project. You can make a tax deductible donation here or do some fundraising of your own by joining the Move Your Hyde or Elemental Om team in Cincinnati.  The first fundraising event is on Sunday July 29th at 8:45 am, a donations only practice at Move Your Hyde. We’re screening the Africa Yoga Project documentary. This 15 minute short film won a New England Emmy and is being entered in the Sundance film festival. It’s a very powerful look at what Africa Yoga Project does and how you can help by donating money through the Yoga Aid event and/or participating on a fundraising team. Immediately following the documentary we’ll have a Baptiste style class, donations for AYP. This will be a popular event so be sure to reserve your spot by contacting Cheryl at and bring your friends! If you are a current Move Your Hyde student you can also reserve your spot in the class online.  There will be another screening on August 5th at 3pm at Elemental Om Montgomery.

Join the thousands of others across the globe who will participate in this fundraising mission by by taking part in the Yoga Aid Challenge in Cincinnati at Ault Park, 2pm September, 9th. Participation in the class is FREE, all we ask is that you register for the event and help us fund raise for local charity partners through your very own Yoga Aid Fundraising page. 100% of donations go directly to charity.
